Early 70's

Quinta Morgado, originally a 1600-hectare farm, is the birthplace of the Vilamoura Marina’s resort.

Its founder, Artur Cupertino de Miranda, envisioned a marina-centred resort on this land.

This vision came to fruition between the late 1960s and early 1970s.
